Linked Cannons need to return, in some fashion. Otherwise I think the dial is still way too red. Advanced Sensors is practically a must, IMO.

I hate to break it to everyone who is having a fantastic time with Predator + HLC, but Predator is primary attack only. None of the bullseye talents work with HLC.

It would have worked in 1.0, but in 2.0 the crit-to-hit happens after the dice have been modified by the players. The only way to get crits out of an HLC is to fit it to Rexler Brath.

I’ve been running four Blade Squadron Veterans with shield upgrade and Predator against different scum squads my brother runs. He’s not tournament level competition but it seems like they are pretty good.

Stress management is an issue but not too terrible. They have so many shield and damage points to absorb that you are likely to be able to block your opponents ace at some point and get rid of him. After that it’s just wading in against anyone left.

Like I said, I don’t know if it wins any tournaments but it’s 36 damage to take out the squad and they each get a 3 dice primary. They aren’t fast but they have good tight turn arounds with the 2 K turn and the 1 Talon roll.

Echoing others, Ten Numb is fantastic.
I also love Braylen, but it seems I need to bring along Cassian Andor to make him terrifying. Also I would just staple Advanced Sensors to your named B-Wings. Barrel Roll - > Hard 1 or Talon is too fantastic to not do every turn!

Agree. Ten is good in this edition. The ability to shred stress to change eyeballs is good, especially with ships that like to give stress. I’ve tried him naked, with tractor beam, and proton torpedos. Tractor beam wasn’t very helpful as I was better off trying to kill ships rather than move them. Torps did damage, and with target lick he becomes deadly at range 1-3. Naked ten did just fine rolling 3/4 damage with reroll options.

While I agree, how does HLC interact with Marksmenship? It's a thing, after all. FFG said so.

I think it's kinda sexist that Mark won't let any ladies on his boat.

What I think is interesting about HLC and Marksmanship is the way it functions, but doesn't accomplish anything in the end.
