This was a great deal of fun to fly. The Alphas are superb blockers or flankers, depending on how late in the game you are. Ideally you get blocks early on and allow the bombers to push damage through against unmodified defence dice. Echo plays as a classic Phantom and either picks off fleeing ships or simply stalks the flanks. There's no point having a bid with Echo at imitative 4, so I think the bombs are worth keeping on the Scimitars.
