After much thought and deliberation on my part along with research through comic archives, I decided on a new color scheme. I figured that this scheme would be loosely based on a police force and I first went with tan and dark navy blue. Well this looked too much like CHIPS and laughably so, but I decided to color the pockets of each figure a nice dark red. This was hopefully a highly visible scheme so the force could be identified easily. The base also has a marble with chips and flecks of gold to show the anthracite pattern of the marble.

I like this. I’d love to see a few more photos from other angles and other figures.

I will post more pictures of them this weekend. My power went out for an unplanned outage so it's going to have to wait for a couple of days.

Nice work on these miniatures. I really like outside the box paint schemes on miniatures. The Fleet troopers were the only group I did not give an alternate paint scheme although I did customize all their heads for a full alien squad. I honestly feel like I want to pick up another set just to do an alternate paint scheme.
