That's a cost increase, right there. I can't see you fitting 3 in a list now. At least, not loaded up with bombs like they normally would be. Two of these with Vet gunner and some bombs is just good on its own (perhaps throw in the new A - wing).

unless there are no turns or banks. That would keep the cost down.

Add in a ship-specific ability: "When an enemy TIE/fo overlaps you, you and all other Resistance Bombers in range 0-3 are destroyed." Throw in this one Ini3 unique pilot who says "you may ignore the Resistance Bomber's ship ability".

With that facetious reasoning, TIEs shouldn't get any defense dice and only one hull, the Millenium Falcon should never lose it’s last hull (never destroyed) and boba fett should, if no focus (eyball result) are rolled, suffer an number of crits equal to all other results, and then fly off the board.

The ruling (as well as the ruling on the Rigged Cargo Chute debris cloud) makes it clear that overlapping by movement and overlapping by having a device or obstacle placed under a ship are the same.

It wouldn’t have come up, except for the most unliked character in the movie becoming one of the most powerful cards in the game.

They’re reacting to the said expansion, not to the movie.

Frankly, it smells all over of the Disney/LFL approval department requiring “their” trilogy have the stronger stuff to try and force folks down the path of the characters they created. And it does bother some of us from a gameplay perspective as well. (I had similar gripes when 1.0 Kylo crew turned up).

I won’t be buying anything for the Resistance. I will be converting my existing FO ships because I had a lot of fun with them in 1.0 (while in 1.0 it was literally just Poe... ).

It kinda just seems like over reaction and hyper sensitivity to be this upset over a single card.

I've worked for movie companies, and I'd be pretty surprised if anybody in the licensing department had any understanding of, or interest in, X-wing power levels and metagame balance.

Pretty sure. The card is in the article. Unless the card text has changed in the actual printing.

I'd prefer something to the effect of:

Armed and Primed: During the end phase you may recover 1 charge on a bomb upgrade. While you have a charge on a bomb upgrade, when you would 1 or more Hit Damage suffer 1 Hit Damage as a Critical Hit Damage.

That way it would allow for risk vs reward gameplay, would allow the Resistance Bomber to be bomb as much as it wished though at the risk of taking heavier hits when unshielded and would effectively well represent them from the film where the Ties were able to rip through them pretty quick.

Renders Paige Tico, their thematic Gunner, pretty mediocre unless they have pilots/upgrade abilitiess that trigger off the mobile.

Would make her super cheap, though, maybe they'll have something spicy like double Gunner slots.

Yeah, I just checked the RR, and blanks are indeed results, so it can be spent. So jog my memory, wasn't there something that changed significantly from 1.0 to 2.0 that no longer let us give up a blank as a result? Was it Krennic?

Hopefully the b17s won’t have the lock action and their dial will be worse than the lambdas. These things aren’t gunships, they’re slow moving targets.

Based off what little we can see in the conversion set image it looks to have its old dial but not has red 3 turns instead of them being white.
