Eh it's only bombs she's dropping which wouldn't explode until the next turn. Am I correct in thinking that?

And they gonna bomb no matter how grumpy your dreadnaught’s commander is!
I like these so far. I can see Han being really expensive for crew. And I’m loving that artwork for him. Shame we didn’t see much on the X-Wings, as those will be what I’ll be flying the most.
Rose and Paige look so fun. Just lost my last tiny hesitation about buying into this faction.

right now the resistance only has 1x evade ships with crew, that is probably going to change however. Imagine this on a tie phantom like ship?
An upgrade card cannot be looked at in a vacuum.
I think I'm seeing what you are seeing. I'm not sure how many crew slots the Falcon will have, but Han and Finn would be strong, too. That's a two dice potential right there (not including range or obstruction). A 2 agility ship with several crew slots would simply have to be out of the question, given how strong the combo is.

Because players want to be able to use their rectangular-dish Falcons and Silencers.
Yeah Paige is almost under the same issue as Deathfire.
You drop it, but it doesnt actually go off until next round after everyone moves.
Deathfire can drop a Device though so he could plop a proxy right in your face, which would go off. But Paige is a Bomb, she cant do that.

Yes, that's correct.

Not at all. They can just price him like stealth device.

BAMN wow yes, second edition allows for that! woot yay second edition.

Nah. Just make his cost tied to agility.

X-Wings have their own expansion pack, so I'm assuming we'll see them in that article. I'm also hoping that we still get another article on the conversion kit pilots, as this one was largely focused on upgrades.
i suspect Han would be 6-8pts since most crew are priced that unless they have a game-changing ability.
Han's ability is not gamechanging due to how evade works. Its good, but its not insane.

depends how many dice you have.... put this on a 2 or 3 evade ship and it is insane.

And the +1 from Finn
Not a single ship has crew and 3agi and i highly doubt anything will. Best agi with a crew is cloaked phantom, which of course cant attack.
You require 2+ ships at R0-1 of you to get that level of ridiculous evade stacking, which is kinda counter-productive.
Han is basically a glorified "Oh ****" button, but he will never make you super-durable...just vastly more likely to survive that pincer attack you just fell right into.

Then make him have a sliding cost based on agi.
Also, with him being just Resistance, making sure he doesn’t have the chassis to become insane is much simpler.
26 minutes ago, Squark said:Why on earth would they invalidate the Second Edition format's reason for existing? Not requiring new players to buy expensive conversion kits that do nothing on their own and then hunt for potentially out of print ships is the whole point of Second Edition format. I think you're reading too much into an advertisement
I agrre. I suspect they meant to say 'first edition upgrade kits', that is the rebel, imperial, and scum conversion kits that were just released. Or perhaps they meant 'first wave expansions', meaning the conversion kits and the 2.0 rereleases.
With just what is in this preview the Resistance already has more useful crew than the Rebels. Oh how times have changed lol

The upside of having way fewer ships that can equip them.

I wasn't clear there, sorry. I was referring to only the expansions. The conversion kits would obviously still be part of wave 2 (with material for the fourth ship in each faction) so people could use their old stuff. But the Sequel Trilogy Factions needed a good number of rereleases to compete with the Wave 14+1 Original Trilogy factions.
Why just 3 shields on this new Falcon?
28 minutes ago, Vineheart01 said:oh cmon....Rose can spend blanks.
I thought we were going away from spending blanks ffg...wtf...
Yup, pretty disgruntled about this one.
All the other abilities we’ve seen had to spend a positive result to get what they want.
And of course it has to go to one of the most disliked characters in the franchise...
I mean, I expect Jar Jar to turn up in a prequel faction wave.... but I expect his ability to be a joke or at least thematic.
technically speaking, FO does have 4 ships. Silencer, TIE/FO, TIE/SF, and Upsilon shuttle.
Resistance only had the T70, Falcon, and ResBomber.

Cuz it’s a piece of junk? The turret must have gotten rusty as well.
