3 health. At what point does it give up points

When it's taken 2 damage, the floor rules are out now and it's when you are at half or less health.

Yes. Did notice the rules were prereleased. Although I only read that it was round down for half points. It never said whether was the same for hit points

The relevant part of the rules is

A player’s score helps determine who won the game in certain circumstances and is used to calculate Margin of Victory (see “Margin of Victory” on page 8). Each player calculates their score by adding together the total squad point value of their opponent’s destroyed ships, including upgrade cards equipped to those ships. In addition, each player receives half the total squad point value (including upgrade cards), rounded down, of each enemy ship whose combined total hull and shields (including any modifications to hull or shields via cards such as Hull Upgrade or Shield Upgrade) have been reduced to half or below.

That last sentence being the important one.

Exactly.

No need specify to round down, because if you have 3 hull and lost 1, you have not lost half hull yet.
