Android: Official Genesys System
Finally! I've been waiting for this one for so long. Give me my cyberpunk NDS!
FYI, we already have a Facebook group for discussion of this if you want to discuss over there as well.

? preordered.
Dont know anything about the setting but it looks kinda interesting. But its a genesys source book so keep em comming
The World of Android book was a sourcebook looking for a RPG all along.
Okay I whined alot about Terrinoth but I'm pre-ordering this one [right now]. Are they throwing in a bonus book (Android Novella: Undercity)? That's pretty sweet!!
Huh, pretty cool. Will definitely keep an eye out for this, since it will also help when making sci-fi stuff.
Edited by satkazOne step closer to an Arkham Horror sourcebook!
They don’t suggest a quarter when it will be released, that’s new, perhaps they got sick of getting it wrong ?
Super excited for this though, the gm chapter sounds really intriguing and I’m looking forward to the favour system as well.
Been waiting for news of this book to finally hit. Now, to wait for a release date.
I hope they release the PDF of World of Android when they release the PDF of this new source book.
I'm not usually into cyberpunk, but this looks really awesome! It seems like it'll be a solid supplement for genesys too.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the favor rules sound an awful lot like Obligations in Edge of the Empire.
Is anyone else expecting it to be in typical genesys fashion, to be the same but better?

Or social complications in Champions/HERO. But EotE is likely the actual source.
I imagine each of the official settings for Genesys will significantly expand the optional rules and introduce new ones like RoT did.
Wild speculation time, what will be the next book? Will it be Twilight Imperium, Tanhauser, that steam setting (??), or something else?
They've stuck with the ones they named in Genesys so I would think TI is a strong likely on deck.
With the anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077 and (presumably by extension) Cyberpunk 2020 rocketing up to #6 on DTRPG.com, I feel this is brilliant timing. I’ve seen quite a few forum posts concerning a desire for cyberpunk gaming, so coupling the fantastic GeneSys with the beloved Android universe right now is simply good sense. It’s also sure to drive up sales for Worlds of Android. I know I’m getting it. ?

And considering that I will be running a Shadowrun themed game following my current Ruins of Azlant (Pathfinder) game using the Genesys mechanics? This is absolutely perfect for me.

Oh, heck yeah! I bet this is going to happen at many tables.
Personally, I hope it's Tannhäuser.
I made my account 4 years ago just to tell FFG to make an Android RPG, and it's finally happening! Already have the Genesys book, just waiting for this to come out!

The magic system is a bit loose for Shadowrun, but it could work.
What subsystems are we anticipating? Beefed up hacking? The favours system mentioned up thread?
I was interested / slightly disappointed to see no ‘custom skills’ on the example character sheets doing the rounds. This suggests nothing radical in terms of rules support?

I think a lack of custom skills is simply a result of Genesys already having all the Skills you need to run a futuristic setting.

I am imagining that the optional rules for cybernetics and hacking will be heavily supplemented, Favors will be the new subsystem (like RoT has Heroic Abilities). Beyond that, there'll be some more Item Attachments, and likely a small selection of new vehicles.
