i wonder in Elusive EPT would be worth it on Kad Solus. The synergy of resetting energy and getting double focus seems very good.

Is Kad worth it? One option is downgrading him to a Skull. Gives you 4pts to distribute. E.g. crack shot on all 3 and 4p bid. Or Predator/Fearless on Old Teroch.

good points westie. guess it depends on the initiative scores of the other ships. init.4 is somewhat in no mans land meaning it will trump other generic ships but not other aces so im on the fence tbh. Kad Solus ability could be a bit situation/predictable in actual play. dunno.

I think his double focus can help defensively when talon rolling blind (vs I5-6) too. I tend to not talon roll them pretty much at all. And Kad becomes predictable as he will want to t-roll.

Regardless I would want that list with a min 4p bid to Help both Teroch and Boba (and Kad/the I4 generic) so I would rather swap him to free up points as suggested.

But fly it and evaluate Kad?

Init bid is really up in the air with 2.0. back in 1.0 a bid of 3pts was considered strong. i hear what ur saying with helping the aces like boba get an edge by upping the init bid. moving second is a huge advantage in matches where your ships have same initiative score as ur opponents.

so if i replace Kad with Skull Squadron Pilot and put crackshots on all 3 ships im at 196pts which seems about right.
