After months of demos, learn to plays, and posting about how great this game is, we finally have gathered enough players that we have decided to form our own squadron in southern Arizona, Cochise Squadron (after our county), out of the city of Sierra Vista. We will be focusing on Armada and X-Wing and will be setting up leagues for both games in the near future (once we finish our CC campaign), as well as arrange for tournaments at our four Friendly Local Gaming Stores. While part of the Thunder Mountain Gamers group in the area, we hope to continue to expand both games while encouraging a fun and competitive gaming scene in Southern Arizona. I wanted to thank everyone in the Armada community for helping us get to this point by providing suggestions on how to build and community from scratch and how to successfully run demos. I hope to see some of you at some of our events in the future.
