C-3P0 and han

By Roller of blanks, in X-Wing Rules Questions

If hans reroll dosen't count as a reroll, can he reroll a blank to an evade and get the C-3P0 bonus.

Han happens after you roll the dice so c-3po finishes up before you ever trigger han.

Interesting question... Han's reroll doesn't count as a reroll for the purpose of other effects. So, while I agree that Threepio would resolve before Han gets to make his reroll... could you potentially spend his other calculate token (since Threepio generates 2), to trigger the droid a second time, during Han's reroll-that-isn't-a-reroll?

(Note: I don't think Han pilot + C-3P0 crew is a good combo - it's too costly, both for points, opportunity cost for the crew slot, and action economy during the game. Leebo + Threepio is much more interesting together)

No. not being a reroll doesn't mean it's a roll.

Can't like this enough.

People keep assuming that for some reason.

"This pancake does not count as a pancake, but that fact doesn't make it a waffle."

Since they don't have the same timing triggers, you can't use Han's second roll to count for the 3P0 guess. You could technically roll, then use 3P0 before using Han to roll again.

I like R2-D2 on Han. With a double roll, the odds of him damaging the ship drop off significantly. :)
