Problem is that you have to have a target in both of Dash's arcs, and Dash doesn't like being pincered because that means he likely has an enemy at range 1.

I wonder if Feedback Array + Static Discharge Vanes is something worth testing as a counter to I6 ships. In 1st edition the only way to beat them was to block them with Dash until time ran out, now you can actually block them to death while also ionizing them.

You use Roark to attack first, then Han. Both are at I7. Unless the rules clarification thread created today did something to this.

Yeah and both out of the same arc, so Dash can kite as he loves to do. Biggest issue I think is that if the combo doesn't remove enough in the first 2 rounds of combat, he wants to start arc dodgning and will likely be too far from Roark to keep the good times rolling. Perceptive, Title, Trick Shot Dash still seems good 1v1 so you just need to kill enough early.

Triple high I aces would be tough although the other side of the bow tie gives them some positioning issues.

I will test this out and report back.

The nice thing is Roark's ability is range 1-3 and he has that nice 180 slanted arc with the title, so Dash does have some leeway to move around, though he still wants to be in range 1-2 for that coordinate.

I might try this one.

I added Rigged Cargo Chute to Dash. I'm thinking about dropping Engine Upgrade from Roark, since I never boosted with him, though that could be a mistake. The Chute was great to do some Dash things.

I think I'll drop the engine too although I like the idea of inertial dampeners, stopping on a rock might even let outrider remove the stress too?

Just ran this vs Han, Palob, 4-LOM and it was excellent. A bit static as Dash was tied to the speed of his buddy but the game lasted all of 10-12 minutes. The damage output is awesome. I don't think engine on the HWK is needed and a cargo Shute would help punish aces that got in close to arc dodge. A bid at 193 also seems really nice.

Dash at 98 seems reasonable and would give a little more wiggle room.
