I've been answering questions about this and I really need to make sure I have it right in my head. I don't want to mislead anyone!

The newest FAQ seems, in short, to indicate that you should never put Optimized Prototype on a Decimator. The FAQ says a Turret facing forward is a turret attack, not a forward firing arc attack. As a primary-turreted ship, it does not even have a forward firing arc, only a turret that can face forward. Likewise, Auzitucks are incapable of using Outmaneuver because they will never make a forward arc attack, only a front half arc attack. A Decimator can equip a torpedo for Outmaneuver, but its primary will never work with it. Auzitucks cannot equip any special weapons at this time.

So don't give Auzitucks Outmaneuver, don't give Optimized Prototype to Decimators.

If it requires a primary arc attack then they don't have one.

If it requires a target to be in the primary arc then it would work.
