Once for each advantage/every 2 threats, or only once per roll?
How many times can Overcharged Power Cell trigger?
I'd say only once per roll. Otherwise, the damage bonus starts getting too good, especially since it's a Breach 1 weapon to begin with.

Yeah, especially with things like Fine-tuned Emitter and Superior adding automatic advantages. I might cap it at 2, which would make sense thematically.
Was curious about official rules, since it's not a weapon quality and the rules are a bit vague.
Edited by StriderZesseiMy rule of thumb is that unless the game text says something along the lines of "per Advantage/Threat spent" in how the thing (talent, attachment, Force power, etc) works, then it's a one-and-done sort of deal.
Where is Fine Tuned Emitter?

But doesn't that kinda fly in the face of all the force powers, as most that can only be activated once say so?

Nope, because in F&D before they go into the break down of each individual Force power, there's a bit of text that essentially says "unless the effect says otherwise, it can be activated multiple times.

But you still need to spend a Force pip for each activation of a Force Power. It limits the possibility to multiple time activation. It's very powerful only for a Force user with a very high Force rating, imo.
