Does anyone know when FFG will get the starter set for the AGoT LCG back in stock at the factory? I've wanted to pick up a copy for a while but no one seems to have any left?

barnes and noble also apparently has it. and in theory all stores should haveit again soon...unless the boat is actually on the river styx.

Yes, it's turning into a big missed opportunity. It wasn't readily available for the holidays and now four months later it is still not in stock. There's been several posts on the forum over that time by people wanting to get into the game asking where to find the Core Set who knows how many don't make their way to the forum to ask. And now with Regionals, people who might be interested in joining in might be turned off either b/c they don't have a Core Set at all or they want a second/third copy to build the deck they have in mind but can't. I feel like we're losing potential new players to the other LCGs simply due to the Core Set being unavailable.

I've been thinking the same thing. The Core Set is required to play, how can an LCG go on like this? Lost sales and potential player loss is huge. And have we heard any offical word from FFG on this?
Well I just got mine from Barnes and Noble last week and ebay has a couple available too. I doubt any other new players would be that discouraged if they were really interested. Although if FFG was smart they would be offering to take peoples email addresses to email them when it is back in stock.

Yeah, don't go to your local B&N store. They won't have it. You have to order it online. There are also some on eBay (over 10 sets).
Got it Online B&N. Searched the 5 B&N locally and none of them had it.
According to FFG...the Core Set will ship to distributors this week!!
So I saw! I look forward to picking one up. I might have to wait until my FNGS gets a copy in since I've been asking him a number of questions about it. I know I can get it cheaper online but I like support local stores when I can.
I think FFG's delivery truck is as slow as the boat the Starter sets were stuck on, haha. Their posting was on 4/12 that they were going out and I still don't see any reasonable online retailers that have them stock. What gives?

I made a special trip to my distributor to put it and the the new Chapter Pack on my shelf today. So expect to see them popping up in your local stores in the next week of so (and let your store know that you want one, so they actually do order it for you).
