Recharging tokens on actions

By Pedro Lunaris, in WFRP Rules Questions

another question:

I noticed some of the Adveturer's Toolikit Action cards states in the effect that you trigger that effect after puting a number of recharge tokens on the card. that numer is usually the same that the card indicates as having on it's upper right. fine, to me that effect description just explained what that number implied.

but that mechanic seems different with some cards from the corebox. because in this ones, there is a different effect that is triggered by adding (or sometimes removing) an x amount of recharge tokens from the card.

I'm guessing it's just that. but it did confused me. like, when you want (and are able) to use "Speed of Asuryan", you would put it to the side of your character sheet, and add the 4 indicated tokens on the card... that's the number on the upper right. but, then again, as the description of it's effect says that you add 4 recharge tokens, I could understand that I had to add 4 more. again, I don't think that's it, but it gets things kinda messy to me.

Some cards have an ongoing effect, which causes the recharge and recharge tokens to represent the duration of the effect. Thus, sometimes adding recharge tokens is a good thing, as it extends the effects of the action card.

yes, that I got sorted, but it wasn't what I was asking.

I asked about come Adventurer's Toolkit cards that states on the effect the same number of added recharge tokens as the number on the upright space. this cards, like Speed of Asuryan, don't make it clear if they are talking about the regular number of recharge tokens, or some added cost. and I compared with other cards, that adds more recharge tokens as an added effect, such as when you roll a given number of banes and boons.

sorry for not being as clear as I wanted.
