It dawned on me today Wave 2 is coming shortly about 8-9 weeks away.

What are you more excited about First Order or Resistance?

Also best guess on days until next article?

I’m personally more excited for the Resistance. New Poe looks awesome, and the I’ve been waiting for a long time for the RZ-2.

That said, the FO isn’t that far behind in hype level.

I’m going to concur with next Monday for when we get more wave 2 info.

Resistance for me, i sold all my rebels knowing full well that i had no intentions of playing the FO alongside my Imperials

Is that a confirmed release date?

I’m more excited for the First Order of the two.

i got rid of all my resistance and traded so I can fill (well aside from shuttles) the FO kit.

The resistance characters aside from Poe don’t do it for me, and I had way more fun in 1.0 with the FO ships.

More excited for Mining Guild TIE. Maybe Monday with T-70 or RZ-2.

While trying to get into Second Edition, I realized I'm really interested in what's coming. I thought I didn't care so much about the First Order or Resistance, but as I've started to build some lists, I realized I'm up for a lot of things. I'd like to see more about the Resistance because I love the T-70 miniature and a new A-Wing is exciting. I can't wait for the other factions either, though. I just want to to see the things that haven't existed before, I guess.

I have to admit that I don't really care about either Resistance or First Order ships. I have....2 Resistance ships and 5 First Order ships. I'm thinking of selling them off. Too few a number to get a conversion kit for.

I did actually play my first game with the Tie Phantom, though. First game ever. Actually got 2. Mission for the first, and I got the rules for Krennic wrong, but won. Second was a regular match and I pulled it off!

If I had to pick between the two factions, maybe Resistance? Maybe? Honestly, I'm happy just flying my Rebels and Imperials and have less interest in these two factions. That said I do have a fair number of ships I could easily convert over for both, and I certainly used Resistance more than the FO in the past.

The next article will come when FFG decides to release it, and not a moment before...

I’m getting a Resistance kit, just hoping to find another Bomber or two, to fill it out entirely. I like the Silencer but don’t care enough about the rest of the FO, so I’m probably gonna sell what little I have there...

With the preview rules going into effect today, I'm hopeful for an article today.

I think I'm probably more excited about First Order than Resistance. The new T70 setup with its different s-foils and hard-point look like they could be really interesting. Being able to have the s-foils closed while using almost any special weapon I want is neat. I'm not sure if it will be very good yet. We need more damage-cannon options to figure that out but I'm honestly not sure if they intend to release much in that way.

I probably will not get the FO conversion kit as I've only got two FO TIEs right now (I stopped playing/buying 1st edition before the rest came out). I might get the Resistance conversion kit since I do have a Falcon and two T70s. I'd like to get the HOTR Falcon and Black One as well. Hopefully I can track down some loose bombers to fill in the rest of the kit.

I may bother getting First Order stuff, but it's not really thrilling me at all yet.

I'll pick up both conversion kits, but probably not on release day. I think I'll still be making my way through the three existing conversion kits' pilots and ships when these arrive. I'm more interested in the Resistance.

I’m a little torn. I only have FO/resistance stuff. I only started collecting right when 2.0 was announced. And since my friends started collecting other factions I got a bit of both of these. My dilemma is I only want to get 1 of these 2 factions. I have more FO stuff so converting that makes the most sense and is what I’m leaning towards. But I do like me the t70 and the new a wing. So I’ll be selling off one faction to more fill out the others conversion kit. But which one will be determined but what’s announced before they release. Ie what’s in wave 3...

FO speaks to me more than Resistance. SILENCER!!! I'll pick up both of course. But likely only Fly Resistance sparingly, and probably then only Poe/BB8 if that still exists.

I'll be picking up the Resistance Conversion and two A-Wings, because though X-Wings are my go-to ship to fly, A-Wings add a little variety and who doesn't love whizzing around the board at speed 5 with boost?!

I expect new articles either next week or the week after. With a proposed release date of the last week of November (FLGS release event is December 2), they've only got nine weeks to generate hype, spoil bits, and generally stir up the crowd before release. Given that FFG also have other products to market in the run=up to Christmas, I'm expecting the X-Wing announcements to come as a cluster over the space of two weeks, and then for us to probably heard very little until it arrives.

There is a high probability that wave 3 will primarily be clone wars era factions.

I’m really hoping they add a bit more to FO/Resistance before they add clone wars stuff. Maybe more to come in wave 2?

We’ll see. Either way I’ll be playing a sequel trilogy faction. And I have time to decide still. My group is still playing 1.0 until I can convert. How nice of them.

Actually, I doubt Wave 3 will be Clone Wars, and that only around Wave 3 will we get actual details of the Clone Wars waves.

I'm eagerly awaiting Wave 2, and have been collecting 1.0 ships to make the FO and Resistance conversion kits more worthwhile. I have an extra T70 and the A-wing on order too (may get two eventually). I'd like for them to come out with the red version eventually.

Forget the First Order/Resistance junk - I'm hoping for a new TIE Interceptor in Wave 2! Pilots! Royal Guard TIE! DO WANT!!!
