THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO PLAY or have played HOAC.

If your plan is to convert to a B-wing, is it best to start in a Y-wing, or an X?

What of if your plan is to go over to an A-wing?? Which of the Y-X are best to start with?

B-Wing, probably start with a Y-Wing so that you have access to more Torpedo slots to fill out.

A-Wing, doesn't matter as it has no slots in common with the others.

Also, in one of the FAQs the designer stated that you can sell back purchased upgrades for half xp cost, not including epts. Made moving to the awing much better for me.

I think you can do the Y or X to B pretty easily. Personally I’d take the X because the Y really wants a turret and that’s going to be a lot of XP to burn, even getting half of it back.

also, you’re setting yourself up for success by getting used to locked arcs, which you’d have with the B.

Actually looking ON the faq for HOAC< i see someone asking the question, and Devon saying "that will be included in V.8.

I think it doesn't matter too much for planning to move to a B-wing. The X-wing can have a Torp, but otherwise just put your points into moving forward. You will do damage and such with your 3 attack dice. Y-wings are fine and you will get Torp shots, but not do much after that.

Also, it's the first time I've seen it called HOAC. Where is the T for "the"? I have usually seen it called HotAC for Heroes of the Aturi Cluster. People either pronounce it "hot ac" or "Ho-tac". :)

Most often when i see acronyms done, the word "THE" is often left out.

I'm not sure this is true when it comes to fandom acronyms, and it's definitely not true for SW movie title acronyms. TPM, AotC, RotS, RotJ, TFA, and TLJ, all include the "t" from"the". Also LotR(Lord of the Rings) and TOS, TAS, and TNG(Star Trek: The Original Series, The Animated Series, and The Next Generation) all include the "t" from "the". I've always seen it as HotAC as well. It's not an issue at all but it is kind of interesting.
