Starcraft is a great game. The only thing I really don´t like is the CP-system (Conquest-points).
IMO, the CP-areas are too important.
If you are lucky and got a starting planet with 2 CPs you got good chances to win.
If you have a starting planet with no CP-area you are always behind in CPs.
There are more disadvantages, but lets skip this.
A hour ago I got the idea that those CP-areas should just give 1 or 2 ressource tokens if you got them under control.
Plus, you get a CP for every base that you got (on different planets).
That way, every starts with the same chances. No-fly areas could be more important (with base on them); I would expect more movement...
I wonder if it is possible to play it that way. Would it be unbalanced? Do I have to change other rules as well?
(like Terrans cant move their base with a mobilize order)
