You can’t take more than 1 of any upgrade on a ship in 2.0

"A ship cannot equip more than one copy of an upgrade card with the same
name." -page 17 of the rules reference.

Cards are relatively flat, so it should be pretty easy to put one on top of the other. Hope this helps.

All upgrades in 2.0 are limited.

Limited means you can't have more than one in your whole list (on more than one ship), you can't have any one upgrade more than once on one ship.

Its in the Rules Reference that ships can’t equip more than a single copy of specific upgrade.

Ah I'm forgetting they call the (what I call limited) single upgrades 'Unique', I've always called them limited.

my mistake on the wording

To clarify some wording in this thread based on 1.0 wording:

Limited: 1 per ship
Unique: 1 per list

So yes, technically ALL upgrades are now 'limited' in the old sense (one per ship), and some are unique (one per list).

Actually, in second edition Limited is exactly that, or at least very similar to that as Unique was removed as a keyword.

Quote

Some ship cards and upgrade cards have limitations. These limited cards are identified by a number of bullets ( u ) to the left of their names. During squad building , a player cannot field more copies of cards that share that name than the number of bullets in front of the name.

What part of the quoted rule says limited?

wait no part of it? so no doubles of any cards on a ship... real simple.

Edit : man i was being rude... sorry left my rude statement because censorship is bad... but still sorry.
