cool looking list. with that many points invested in sai ur opponent is going to make it a priority target. Part of ur plan to flank with the ties fighters? howlrunner is awesome but less so with few ships to abuse her rerolls. at a glance im wondering how you will fly this list and keep formation with the shuttle or is ur plan to formation flank with the tie-fighters and bait them to go all-in on ur shuttle. HLC on the shuttle seems iffy after the first pass and im betting u will get few shots on small agile ships that trump Sai's initiative 3. Just trying to be constructive. Could Palpatine be a better fit here? Feels like the list needs some way to give stress to abuse Slaone.

All are valid points and things I had considered. I would likely keep them apart and aim towards meeting up in the center for an initial engagement.

The points are kinda awkward; I can drastically downgrade the TIEs (aside from Howlrunner). The HLC is there for filler more than anything. I had the space with the three TIEs only. It could go away if I go with some generics.

I’m not the greatest flyer ever so I lean towards keeping all my ships at the same initiative. But that does give me less options and overpriced ships in some cases.

any thoughts on crew options for the lambda?

Vader is good with its new rear arc.

When trying to move 3+ unwieldy large bases around the board, I'd suggest collision detectors. The ability to turn yourself into Dash Rendar for two turns is amazing, especially if you also manage to fly over a rock and get "I'm obscured but you're not" shots with the aft guns.

Forget Collision Detector, go for Ablative Plating instead. Allows you to roll before deciding whether to burn the charge, and is fewer points. I'd have it stapled to Lambdas, especially if you're running multiples.

EDIT: Apologies, double post.

It stops the damage better, but collision detector still lets you get your action and allows you to fire whilst parked on a rock. It's more expensive but you get what you pay for.
