Good luck. Buncha spots got shorted scum kits. Enough that some preorders didn't get filled. I'd be surprised if there are enough spares for them to help if they wanted to. Considering those were all likely used up to plug distribution holes.
If this was anything but a SW game it would have died in this launch.
But is nerds will carry them through cause we love our toy spaceships so it is what it is.

Well then I guess the claim of the article stating you didn't need to cross faction for upgrades was false. It wouldn't be the first time they have been incorrect in their official articles, but they never have been wrong on this magnitude before.

Or they intended it to be correct, but a series of mistakes were made with the tight printing deadline.
At the time the print was ordered only the imps had double missile slot.
The solo falcon probably came after and is really wave 1.5
im guessing the double faction uniques were a whoops.

Your theory doesn't explain the Moldy Crow title not being included in the Scum conversion kit, or Agile Gunner being in none of the conversion kits, or any of the other examples people have given.
And maybe if one of the features of your new game is that upgrade slots can be changed on a whim, don't cut people off from upgrades just because of their upgrade slots? It doesn't hurt to just give everyone Barrage Rockets just in case, I don't know, they change the upgrade slots in the future, especially since the faction that does use them the most tends to need 4 of them anyway.

Funny, I think both of those were called out. Agile gunner is part of 1.5, not wave 1, in my theory.
And the moldy crow is an example of the immediate oops I cited.
Were mistakes made? Yup. But I think all the people screaming they were lied to and this is all a malicious conspiracy is pretty foolish.

Seriously, stuff like this puts you solidly in the tinfoil crowd. As a customer, you have 3 choices. Walk away, deal with it, or sue them. (well, I guess you have a 4th, which is whine incessantly but that's just a tantrum filled version of #2, dealing with it).
Ofc the easiest way to solve this is for ffg to update the app, removing the 2nd slot from Kwings. That’ll make everyone happy, yep? ???

4 nu with barrage + jonus seems like it would be good. You lose the bomb on the similar build with bombers, but you are way harder to kill, with the shields and extra life, and you can still slam and come back for more

Actually, customer criticism is probably one of the driving forces of improving a business. When a company pulls some stuff like that, I think they deserve to be called out for it. If enough people do, they will notice.

I didn't accuse FFG of anything. On the contrary, I'm certain the root of the matter is incompetence (in this specific matter, the app is another discussion altogether) as I fail to see what FFG could possibly gain by saying stuff anyone can immediately see as untrue. Doubly so if said stuff is supposed to encourage people t to buy less by sticking to a single faction.
