Boba and 2 kimogilas

So thinking of trying out this list. Any thoughts or suggestions or is 2 kimos a waste of points?

Palob probably deserves a spot on this list. 50pts for title and ship.

My suggestion is to think about the ordnance.

Do they offer enough on a 3 dice primary?

I cannot think those Kimos will do enough, honestly

First, I feel like the Trick Shot synergy won't add much. I'd drop those and the Rigged Cargo Chute. Next, I don't really think 3-dice missiles are worth it on a ship with a 3-dice primary attack. The Range 2 cleave attack isn't bad with double TLs, but it seems pretty situational, and not necessarily that much better than a Range 1 4-dice shot from your primary weapon.

So presuming the core package of Boba with 0-0-0, Han, and Marauder and the two Executioners, there are 22 points to work with. Debris Gambit is a pretty common Boba Talent upgrade: he can white Evade near an asteroid, with potential focus and calculate tokens, and defensive token stacking on such a key piece seems useful. 20 points. Presuming we still want ordnance on Kimogilas, I'd go in one of two directions: Proton Torpedoes (which fills up the rest of the list... 2 points to spare, but nothing really seems worth it), or Ion Torpedoes. Not super high damage in themselves, but with 4 dice you'll stand a much better chance to ionize a target, and then line up some nasty kill boxes. Ions also leave a lot more points to work with. That could be R3 on the Kimos for easier targeting options. That could be Expert Handling handy white Barrel Rolls. That could be something like Predator for taking advantage of predictable ion ships, or maybe just Crack Shot and spare points for a Proton Bomb on Boba Fett.

I think I like that one best.

    • While chasing the bullseye arc might not be the best plan, whenever you get it, nearly all your hits will stick. Your opponent can't use green tokens, (Focus, Calculate, Evade, Reinforce), and you can crack away one of their evade results.

I think it could work. R3 lets you potentially get mods on both cluster shots. 4, 3 dice attacks on 2 ships can be nasty.

And I3 isn't terrible. They'll shoot before the 5 bomber lists. But a high initiative alpha list will probably try to take one off the board before you even shoot. That would be my biggest concern.

I think you drop rigged cargo for fearless on Boba. Make him scary enough that your opponent focuses on him first and ignores your missile barrage. And if Boba launches into range 1 with re-rolls for days, he's hard to kill

Thanks for the help guys I thought to try the clusters as swarms are a pain. I also really liked the kino in 1st e might try them with ions or protons
