Legion Terrain

By Lordxeno, in Star Wars: Legion

I am looking for modular battle terrain. Any suggestions? Look to be able to put down a 6' by 3' battlefield with ease.

Imperial Terrain has some great modular stuff. Spaceport/garage for your urban needs (and buildings to go with it), or modular temple ruins for that secret base / race for relics type of feel.

I’ve been printing up their stuff lately and really liking it.

I was thinking like a basic terrain I can but for a grasslands or forest then fill it in.

It takes 45 tiles to make a 6x3 table. I scooped up some trees from him, and some trees from a few other places. Paired it all with the battlekiwi endor buildings plus some models and called it a table.

Here's a link to some shots of the table.

Those plates do look nice. For what it's worth, I got a Fat Mat that's 4' x 6' (I think around $100) and just block off 6" on either side with tape or string. Then I drop in hills and forests to fill up the table. Not as detailed as those tiles but the mat works well for grassland fields.

Geo-Hex. A "Basic" set plus umm... I think four spare hexes and a couple spare half-hexes will yield a 3x6 grassland or desert, with many optional hills, for like $130 shipped. The basic set is $100 shipped, gives you like a 4x4 table with hills. A couple extra tiles for a nominal fee will stretch it to 3x6... or for $50ish you can get a 4x6 felt mat flocked with matching flock. This is the scenery company from the old West End minis books. I got a desert basic set, plus spare hexes to make it 3x6 (or 4 and change by 5 and change, hexes are versatile like that!), and a desert "rough hill set" to give me some cliffs and stuff. My whole collection was under $200 iirc. He just runs an eBay store (and sells at cons and stuff), message him if you want something that isn't in stock.
