... am I the only one looking out with anticipassion for the next Armada article?

Cause, those who said that X-wings articles would stop post 2.0 launch were right.

Those who said Armada could come afterward ... no luck so far (Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping they will post today and make me look like a fool).

Nope, absolutely no one on this entire forum is eager for a new Armada article. Not a soul.

Now, an X-wing 3.0 article... that’s an exciting prospect that could really boost our playerbase.

Okay GLaDOS, chill bruh lol

Not waiting for an armada article... But it's been... (checks watch... Realizes he hasn't own a watch since... (checks calendar... Realizes he hasn't owned a calendar since... (Checks phone cause our lives are on our phones... ))) about 27 min since the last legion article, so I'm getting antsy for the next one.

someone noticed :)

I willing to bet the next article will be something along the lines of "We know what you all have been waiting for... more flotillas!"

I kind of am , though... ? The Empire would appreciate a smaller combat ship than the Raider, and making it a flotilla gives it a cap and doesn't benefit activation spam.

And the Rebels... eh, give 'em the Braha'tok so they'll be quiet about wave eight.

The perfect time for Admiral Nelson to rejoin the community would be just before this announcement.

I deny the premise.

Ugh, as a Rebel a Braha'tok would almost be less exciting than no Wave 8.

I can't see what the ship would offer to the Alliance that isn't already filled by the GR-75 (cheap activation, squadron pusher), Hammerhead (cheap slugger), or CR90 (cheap sniper). Which means the Braha'tok risks being either useless or risks replacing one of those existing ships' roles, and neither option really increases the options available to Rebel fleet construction.

Squadron shooter possibly.

The braha'tok is a screening ship ment to kill fighters, and it may not be the most exciting thing, but the rebels don't have a dedicated flack ship.

The Braha'tok Gunship is better armed than the CR90, the Dorneans somehow crammed 8 double turbolaser cannons and 8 concussion missile launchers on a 90 meter ship. I would hope that FFG would make it a very strong flotilla or regular small ship to represent it's pint sized power.

I would say the Hammerhead represents that better currently in game.

Yeah as you said an anti-squadron small ship is the only unfulfilled niche left for the Rebel side, and we still have more small Rebel ships to go like the DP20, avoiding redundancies will probably be difficult.
