I'm not asking for a bomber swarm nerf. I was to see ideas for how to limit their usefulness.
In general I find stacking rocks in the middle and forcing them through them can split up some arcs.
What have you found that works?

Trajectory simulator can help, and if you have a good blocker (preferably medium or big base) you can get in and deny them focuses. Don't give them too many free bomb damage. Feel free to hit and run.

Outshoot them: low initiative. They are six hull behind 2 agi. using their focus defensively might save them for a round, but cripples their attack. So kick them in the bomber-nards and let the crits crumple. Jonus also happens to be a bomber. Kill him. Duh.
Deny actions: they need a focus. Get them stressed, keep them stressed. You can block (not on the initial engagement, knucklehead) You can strip. You can jam. YES, you can!
Outfly: it is a heavy swarm. It has a very clear no-fly zone: in front of it. Use rocks. Have higher I, have more maneuverable ships. Reposition. Range control.
Anti-swarm tech: cluster missiles, rock placement, trajectory simulator, etc. There are plenty of toys that can wreck a mass of ships. Use them?
The list is strong, but going all-in on its strengths means mixing metaphors and doubling down on its weaknesses. It is a 1.0 mindset list, "how much of the x can i cram into a list?"
Just take it's 2.0 counterpart and you might be alright. Take the core of Jonus and 2-3 other bombers. Then, instead of MORE barrage bombers, throw in Jendon, some better ordnance, and a bid. Or if support doesn't suit you, grab one of those juicy cheap aces like whisper/fel. Your bombers are instantly better than their bombers.
Okay, so you see this right here?
Bombers 1, 2, and 3 all have prox mines
Please don't joust bombers that have prox mines
turn away instead, knowing that bombers are **** awful on the round they K-turn
Naturally, the Kimoglia's fat *** still overlapped a template, but it still lasted four more rounds and did its job. Serissu + range 3 make it basically imprevious to the bomber's crappy, unmodified primary weapons
Then, it's a question of range control and obstacles. Bomber 2 ain't doing a blue bank or 1-foward without running aground a rock, this makes it super easy to dive into range 1. Plus, with their tight formation, Jonus can't bank without bumping into bomber 3 (especially after Torkil dives into range 1)

and now, we gotta do the proxy mine dance one more time (Don't k-turn, just turn).
Tried to get the Kimoglia to bump so it'd only take 1 rocket salvo but no dice there.

some little things to keep in mind when flying against them
Well the best way to beat bombers (as with all jousting lists) is by killing one of the low Initiative ships before it has a chance to shoot at you. Bring something that can eat a couple shots. During 2.0 testing, a friend and I discovered the natural predator to bombers: Hera in the Ghost w/ nien nunb, AP-5, and then whatever you wish for the remaining points. However anything that can throw a lot of dice at high initiative should be good at beating bombers.
Btw this isn't a strategy, but it could be a fun, silly counter
Hotshot Palob Executioner
(54) Han Solo
(7) Hotshot Gunner
(3) 4-LOM
(3) 0-0-0
(6) Lando's Millennium Falcon
(1) Trick Shot
(4) Rigged Cargo Chute
Points 78
(12) Autopilot Drone
Points 12
(44) Cartel Executioner
(4) R5-P8
Points 48
(38) Palob Godalhi
(8) Lando Calrissian
(12) Moldy Crow
Points 58
Total points: 196
Both Hotshot and Palob deny focus, so that's two less rockets to deal with
The drone can double as a proton bomb (you can tick down charges BEFORE docking it to your yt-1300, ensuring it blows up when you want it) that is also a great blocker like. Bombers loathe both those things ?

Yes, palob is extremely good against barage bomber, this list is exelent . You can also add some control with stress 4lom pilot.
I wonder how any of you find a good way to use jam. How do you do with freelance and isb slicers ? It should deny some target lock and focus.
I don't do with Freelance at all
The only platform I've tried it on is Norra (ARC, obviously) with r3 astro
Unfortunately, Slicers also knocks off my second target lock (which is some right bull btw) if I roll that 50/50
Plus, gotta remember freelance only works if you (the ship carrying the upgrade) is targeted. It does nothing otherwise
Now a reaper could be a good idea, because they got jam and the Scarrif generic is a great blocker
But haven't run it against bombers yet
EDIT: oksy, this I'd probably a terrible idea, but Feroph/Vermeil care the least about self jam thanks to their pilot abilities
So krennic + slicer is something
however, I've played the reaper a lot (the model is beautiful and its just amazingly fun) and reliably getting an action with it is EXTREMELY difficult
So yeah, that's probably better on paper
