Rexler / Redline + X

I'm trying to build a list based on Rexler Brath and Redline. I got two ideas for a third ship.

1)

My questions:

- In the first list, is Hull Upgrade on Redline worth it or should I take a 3 point bid?
Do I even care about player order? Moving last is nice, but Whisper wants to shoot first against other I5 ships, to get a second evade token.

- Should I replace Trajectory Simulator and Proton Bombs on Redline with Advanced Sensons on Rexler?

- Any other ideas for a third ship?

I tried proton bombs on a Striker, was hard to pull out right.

I'd recommend you downgrade to seismic charges ^

I tried seismic charges on Strikers and they are very good. I would certainly recommend them over proton bombs

I would use Barrage Rockets rather than ProTorps on Redline, then throw on TrajSim and Seismics (list 1)

What about cluster missiles?

I like Advanced Sensors and Barrage Rockets on Redline, I think those 2 things are auto include.

Proton torpedoes and advanced sensors allow huge flexibility for Redone. He can aquire his TL even after an advanced sensor action as aquiring the lock isn't an action.

You can do things like dial in a 4K, if that looks like a viable move you can advanced sensors a focus, then get a TL and then 4K. If your opponent moves on an unexpected way and a K turn would be terrible, you can advanced sensor a boost and link to a red TL (and then aquire a second TL) and then just do a straight white 2. It's really flexible and gives you a lot of options.

Rexler with Juke and collision Detector is amazing.

That leaves 46 points, you can fit a Reaper or Lambda as support, or a named striker or a bomber. I'm still trying to work the 3rd ship out.

Cant link with adv sensors, its still considered doing a second action.

But you are correct that his acquire a lock doesnt give a crap about adv sensors restrictions.

What about them? They're awful compared to Barrage, especially on a Punisher like Red.

AGREED

actually clusters make sense on redline.

He is the only ship that can get mods for BOTH shots super easy.

But the second shot can be avoided all too easily, and the 1st would only improve his range 2 shooting, while Barrage improves range 2 and 3

Why Barrage Rockets over Proton Torpedos, though? The fully modded 4-dice attack of PT seems pretty good.

Barrage Rockets have more charges, but isn't Redline usually the first ship to die in a list like this?

I got confused with Rhymer's ability.

I wouldn't assume that, personally - If I had the chance, I'd be gunning for Rex
