4 CR 90 are always a good start.
Look out for used Armada ships and collections. You can often find a lot of them for a good price.

Yeah, I ran a fleet with the 4 of them and a liberty vs 2 ISD's. Both sides were very inexperienced but it was fun being able to zoom around, I ended up winning by getting the ISD's separated and flanking with the CR90's. I'll try to keep an eye out for used stuff, anywhere besides amazon and ebay I should look?

If you're on Facebook, there is a group that is an exclusive swap/sell place for Star Wars game products. I've gotten some amazing Armada deals there (My latest Armada purchase I got a 40% discount from standard retail).

It never occurred to me to check other countries sites, I just ordered a French Arquitens without paying $200 or waiting months until they do a reprint.

Wow, I have apparently been pricing my Armada stuff way too low, as I've been selling it for 30% of retail or less... even then, it's taken a surprisingly long time for some of the stuff to finally sell.

I would recommend the FaceBook " North American X-Wing, Armada, IA, and Destiny Trade and Sell Network ."

There have been a fair amount of Armada collections and items on there for pennies on the dollar. That said, I think the vast majority of those who perceived the game as a sinking ship have already liquidated their collections, and I suspect most folks with collections are still holding onto the game. While there were lots of Armada items on the group about half a year ago, though the stuff that pops up now is fewer and farther between.

I play in 400 pts or 800 in most of matchs but I love to play big fleet and landing lot of ships on the mat so, sometimes I play with 1200 to 2000 pts fleet with one of my friends. And often I play solo and imagine some scenario and play countless hours. And yes I made few games with 3 interdictors but only in 800 pts format. 3 interdictors are perfect to organize the deployment of your opponent but needs other ships and squadrons for the fire power.

With a such lot of ships, you can play so many different fleet, it’s endless.....and a real passion. And I wait the ssd (two or three) and I want more ships again. And I hope to start to buy some ships to mel.
