Game play in the Denver area.

By badgerclaw171, in X-Wing Organized Play

I was playing a few months ago on a regular On Monday night over at total excape. But summer coming around in the release of 2.0 I didn't have time to play anymore. now with the release of the new game system I really wanna start playing again. I know summertime usually messes up a lot of leagues so as wondering you are they still playing at Monday night's or are there other options of available in the area I live just North of Denver.

Very disappointed I posted this 5 days ago and looking to see if there Gaming groups for X wing In the Denver area. Since I work long 12 hours days some days don't work for me very well Like weekend's. And that I have not put the single response Is very disappointing.

Fort Collins had some playgroups.

Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming has some groups:

Greeley CO- Nerd Store, regular nights are on Monday. Facebook group is Nerd Store Star Wars Games . Currently running a 1 month variable list league.

Fort Collins CO- Gryphon Games and Comics store, regular nights are on Tuesday. Facebook group is Gryphon Squadron . Just started a HOAC 2.0 league.

Fort Collins CO- Haunted Game Café store, regular nights are on Monday. No Facebook group, but the store has good open play hours that a lot of locals use for X-wing and they do store tournaments as well.

Cheyenne WO- Olympus Games and Comics store, regular nights are on Monday. Facebook group is 307th Squadron . Just started a 1 month variable list league.

There is a lot of intermixing between these groups for local tournaments and such. I don't know if that will help, depending on how far you want to drive, as I'm in the Front Range area and don't go down south to Denver often unless I'm looking at tourneys.

Hello badgerclaw171,

This forum isn't likely the best place to get up to date information on places to play in the Denver Metro area. If you have a facebook account, I would recommend looking up Colorado Star Wars Gaming: X-Wing, Armada...

There, they have a somewhat updated list of what is going on, on certain days of the week. They also keep you up to date with any local tournaments that are going on. I just recently played at a tournament this weekend in Loveland, which was at Grand Slam Sports Cards and Comics. As seen in prior posts, there are some shops that are "North of Denver". It all depends on how willing you are to travel.

Good luck to you and I hope you find some games,

-Duhtch

Like Duhtch said, this forum is not the best. Facebook is where it's at. I moved here from DC 3 months ago and easily found several X-Wing communities. There were 14 store championships in the area this year so I would say there are a fair amount of X-Wing players in the Denver area.

That said, there is a weekly X-Wing night almost every night of the week. Atomic Games West in Golden has a Tues night. Wizard's Chest on S. Broadway has Weds nights. Enchanted Grounds Littleton has Thurs nights. Black Gold in Littleton has Sun mornings. There are plenty more elsewhere. Good luck.
