Is the "Droid" ability given to all droids?

By Mefyrx, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

All droids from Desperate Allies and Strongholds of Resistance have the ability: Droid (does not need to breathe, eat, or drink and can survive in vacuum or underwater; immune to poisons and toxins)

Although those from Far Horizons doesn't.... is that implied that they do?

I believe that all droids should have it unless there is a clear reason that they do not (a droid powered by an internal combustion engine might not do so well underwater or in vacuum, and a droid with organic body components might be susceptible to toxins).

Is there such a thing? I don't recall ever seeing any droids using organic components?

It's a big galaxy.

I heard that Last Shot was terrible, so I've skipped it. How would you rate it?

Imagine the opposite of cybernetics on organics basically

But it IS possible, so it would be interesting variety for some gruesome enemies

Technically, Greivous was a cyborg, not a droid. He started out as a living being.

It's "Legends" now, but in Shadows of the Empire, Guri was a " human replica droid " or HRD. Whether that concept has made it into the new canon, I couldn't say.

Also not sure if she would still be considered to have "Droid" quality. The wookieepedia link above states: "Their design was similar enough to Human anatomy that even high-quality medical scanners were not always able to identify them as inorganic, although they were able to discern some differences from the typical Human." Whether that's similar enough to organics to not be considered a droid would have to be up to your GM.

Its... fine. Not terrible but not great.

It has some really fun character moments (overall he writes Lando better than Han, IMO) and Older has a neat prose style but the story that ties them together is a genuine mess.

Yeah, I found different “bits” to be better than the overall story. (Han’s first interaction with the Gungan guard is a personal favorite. Meanwhile, my wife loves the character concept of Ewok slicer so much that she’s filing it away for some future RPG campaign.)

For the audiobook, Older reads the Han flashback chapters. His delivery does more for his grasp of the character than I imagine it would in just silent prose.

I have it on audio as well and would agree with your assessment.
