Does anyone know what comes in the new Firespray expansion that I might want that isn't in the conversion kit? What about the model is it noticeably different and better?
Old vrs new Firespray
Nothing. If you've got the scum conversion kit, you've got all the new pilots and titles. There's no other new upgrade cards in there.
The model itself has a slightly different paint scheme (and of course the medium sized bases, which you also get in the conversion kit) but that's about it. You can view the full contents here .

No problem!
If you open a scum conversion kit there should be a little plate of unique pilot bases, thats the stuff that was previously supposed to be Clampack specific.
So if you're on the fence, I will say that the following things come with it that are NOT in the conversion kit:
- 4 additional shield tokens
- 2 quick build cards
- 2 proximity mine and 2 seismic charge bomb tokens
I'd also point out this ship does NOT come with ship ID tokens or target locks (because it has bomb tokens taking up the cardboard space), which stinks because they are also not in the conversion kits. (This goes for the Y-wing as well.)
The mine tokens are almost identical to 1.0, so no need to buy it for those, which only leaves more shields (which are scarce at this point) and the quick build cards (which you can find online).
Basically, no reason to run out and get this one unless you were already thinking of picking up a second Firespray to paint or play (like me) or just hate not having enough 2.0 shield tokens and it's worth $25-30 to assuage that OCD urge (also me).

The shield thing really sucks, on top of that I have a lot of ships and love large mission based epic games, 1.0-400 points, 800 points now I guess. So not have a whole lot of shield tokens is horrible. I know I can use my old ones but that isn't the same, OCD and all. I'd gladly trade 1.0 shield at 2 for 1 to get 2.0 but I guess everyone else would too.

heck, I'd trade them 5 to 1! lol.

The general lack of ID tokens and target locks and the fact that the core only came with a single lock for each number when there are abilities in the core that allow you to take two is also a huge pain. I suppose this will all make 3rd party acrylic token makers dance with glee, but I'm not sure how that helps out FFG.
Edited by dadocollinDoes anyone have additional details on any difference in the ship sculpt or paint job?

@Crabbok does a good job of comparing the 1.0 to 2.0 ships in his videos. You can see the differences in the first few minutes. Looks like basically more vivid colors.
Enjoy the Firespray, finally a ship with so many different pilots, titles and builds that can be effective in wildly different ways, without being OP/broken. Good game design imo!
(And I'm happy an original badass such as Boba finally is the threat level he deserves to be)
