Three articles, wow!
Dimodian is particularly good on Ardus, and not half bad on Death Knights.
Lord of Subterfuge is very interesting, I wonder how often it will be good. Neuters the cat bounce, mitigates Scuttling Horror flank disengages, settles coin flips. Very interesting.
Blades also seem to be rally good on a flanking Lord V.
To bad Waiqur don't have a rallying drummer.
Would thirst of bilehall work in both forms or just the Infantry version?

Why do you think infantry only?
Uhhhhh, Lord of Subterfuge is insane.
Would have loved the two Waiqar upgrades to be at 3p since they have requirements (compare with Devouring maw). But they definately look playable:
Lord Werebat with Thirst of Bilehall and Fortuna's dice can be pretty sweet. But 51p is not dirt cheap.
Ardus can really kick som butt with the artifact, though I wonder if it will be much better in practice than fortuna's dice, due to the exhausting.

For sure. I was drooling over "Thirst of Bilehall," but when I read "Lord of Subterfuge" my head exploded. I'm just thinking of Intelligence Agent in X-wing, where you can look at their dial, but can't change your maneuver. And then Cassian Andor let's you change your dial, but only if you correctly guess the enemy dial you peek at. But this one let's you look at 1 or 2 dials, AND let's one of your units change their dial (regardless of range). Every. Single. Round. Bonkers good. I'm a little nervous that it could be overtuned, but we'll have to wait and see. It could be completely fine.
I'm thinking about Spearmen with Raven Pennon Bearer, so they have a good idea which initiative to dial in to make sure the charge first OR charge after the enemy has moved. Basically never failing a charge sounds strong.
Remember that it is only range 1-5 (which is awesome), and in LOS (not as awesome).
If you want to play smashmouth BaronZ and start rocking that Brutal and Precise with 3-4 dice (flanking), then very quickly the only unit in LOS will be whoever you are engaged with. Which will usually not be helpful to peak at that dial.

Oh. Thanks, I missed that. Everything's fine!
To be fair, there is always a release article for new units.
These units add variety that will be fun to play against.

But as someone who plays inspire spam Hawthorne... I'm definitely gonna be seeing if Lord H and Baron Z can team up for some shenanigans.

I initially read it as Lord V only (as opposed to the cursed version only).
Oops

I love Hawthorne's dial, he is such a pleasure to play with, but man if WR no reroll isn't unreliable. He's one good artifact a la Dimodian Blades away from being an absolute staple in my lists. If there's a world in which he can't be ignored, the possibility of Zachareth making him invincible will be very interesting indeed.
