Drawn to the Flame: live play

By zooeyglass, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Hi friends. Just a little heads up that I've been continuing the Think on your Feet series, the latest episode taking in A Phantom of Truth and The Pallid Mask. It's right here: https://drawntotheflamepodcast.blogspot.com/2018/09/episode-82-think-on-your-feet-viii.html

The previous two in this cycle of plays are: https://drawntotheflamepodcast.blogspot.com/2018/07/episode-73-think-on-your-feet-vi.html and https://drawntotheflamepodcast.blogspot.com/2018/08/episode-78-think-on-your-feet-vii.html

I really enjoy doing this for the community, and really hope you enjoy listening to them. Let me know if you have thoughts, suggestions, responses or the like. Enjoy!

I love listening to them, they are very fun. You do a great job of explaining all the stuff you are doing. One of my favorite things to listen too.

oh thanks @monorico, very nice of you to take the time and say as much. I had an error pointed out to me this morning (lovely to start the day with a facepalm) so very nice to see this and feel buoyed up again!

Genuine question - are you "noaloha" from youtube? You sound quite similar.

Apologies if not!

hey @MrDodger I'm not, no! I was a fan of that channel back when it was posting but it seems to have died down a bit. He does sound like a Brit too though. And no need to apologise!

Well I'm a fan of both your work, so there's that :)

Have you ever considered doing a video playthrough?

Thank you kindly!

I have, and there are really two hurdles. Or maybe three. Some hurdles. They are: time, tech and maaaaybe quality. Finding the time to record is a bit tricky (but something I could work towards). I don't currently have a particularly good tech set up (apart from our amazing new mics) so getting over that hurdle to record could be trickier - and require a bigger investment. Finally if I did it I'd like the quality of the videos to be good. I love watching games played on youtube but I'm a stickler for video quality - poor quality drives me up the wall! - so I'd probably be stuck until I could find an effective and efficient way to make videos. If I could do that, then WAHOO, videos all day long! It's definitely on the distant cards.... thanks for asking.

Fair enough!
