Hi, reasonably new player here. Quick query on the order of reactions (not interrupts, or simultaneous effects, etc).
Rules reference says, under heading "Reactions":
"Within the reaction window, the first player always has the first opportunity to initiate an eligible reaction (to this triggering condition), or pass. Opportunities to initiate an eligible reaction, or pass, continue in player order until all players consecutively pass, at which point the reaction window closes."
My question is, does the first player only get to use one reaction to this triggering condition before the "opportunity" passes on to the next player? Or does the first player get to use all eligible reactions before the next player has their opportunity to play reactions? Basically I'm not sure if "opportunities … continue in player order" means that the first player would have to wait to play a second reaction.
For instance, the first player wins an intrigue challenge by more than 5 points with attacker Queen of Thorns (Core Set). First player also has The Mander, while the opponent has Ghaston Grey.
Would the first player be able to use the reaction on The Mander to get more options for Queen of Thorns, then use the reaction of Queen of Thorns before the opponent had the opportunity to use the reaction on Ghaston Grey on Queen of Thorns?
Or after the first player used the reaction on The Mander, would the opponent be able to use Ghaston Grey before the first player had a chance to use the Queen of Thorns reaction?
I've tried the FAQ, the rest of the Rules Reference, and a few hours trawl on various rules forums, but can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. I'm possibly finding ambiguities when everyone else finds this perfectly clear. Apologies if that's the case, and many thanks in advance for clearing this up!
