So, as noted, I will be playing my first 2.0 tournament this Saturday. I was having a hard time deciding what to play.

So, as to the choices; Kestal I brought to my first ever tournament and she has been a staple, so I wanted to continue with her. Now I am one of those few people that couldn't afford to buy a lot, so I make due with what I have, and as such the only ship I have multiples of is the TIE/LN. I decided I wanted to take Admiral Sloane and some a mini TIE swarm. Also, I only fly Imperial.

The whole idea is to force the opponent to choose what they want to deal with Kestal with the ion cannon, the Mini Howlrunner/Seyn swarm or Sloane on the shuttle which will give stress if anything else is destroyed. It seemes like a fun list to me.

I did.. I decided to give the humble TIE/LN’s a whirl - it’s been a while.

I feel that if I swapped for a defender, I should rebuild the list and do away with the shutte and Sloane, as her ability is designed to punish destroying ships around her, and for that to be effective, you need a volume of ships.

Yeah I suppose so - you have a smart list - perhaps swap out grand admiral sloane for other ships - I'm trying to do a Fel centric plus Tie defender combo and keep Lns on Ins as the add ons it's tough to find balance

but when in doubt Tie swarm ?

Why not put sloane on a reaper? Then you can use some points to upgrade the obsidian or something

Because I do not own a reaper. The reapers are only 2-3 points cheaper, as well as the larger base extends her radius of effect on allied ships.

I’ve been trying to build a list since release fo this event. It has been difficult choosing.
