Would I be able to shot three or even four times?
Four shots
1. Forward primary
2. Locked and loaded rear primary
3. Veteran turret gunner turret
4. Locked and loaded rear primary
or 3 shot no second Locked and loaded

Man i literally just posted this same idea 30 mins ago but about the han solo gunner upgrade " Can you Han solo gunner shot at 7 into a locked and loaded bonus shot out the back (not with the turret) with the phantom, then on the Ghosts normal initiative do a primary shot out the front, then another locked and loaded shot out the rear?"
Edited by Mshaver3It seems to me, as written, it should work
I saw that. I think the answer to both is yes, but wanted some agreement

Locked & Loaded is a bonus attack, and you are limited by the rules to 1 bonus attack per activation.
this is legal purely because Han is an out of initiative attack, not a bonus attack.
So the rule of 1 bonus attack is not broken.
I suspect they forgot to mention Han was a bonus attack but its nowhere on his card so...legal
Edited by Vineheart01One bonus attack per weapon or per ship?

Per ship per round.
Okay thanks. I guess I’ll have to see if I can fit Han in then
So if you are only allowed 1 Bonus Attack
Would it be Han Gunner Attack > Locked and Loaded then Primary attack, then done?
Or Does Han Gunner count as that ship doing a bonus attack since its at a different initiative?

Han Gunner is merely an attack. Unless it actually says bonus attack, it isn’t a bonus attack.
Han Gunner is
(as of yet) an undefined attack at Initiative 7
now a bonus attack.
This is done outside of, and independent of, your standard engagement.
When you engage, you make a standard attack . This could be via a turret, or (one of) your primary attack arc/s.
Locked and Loaded allows you to make a bonus attack . You're limited to one bonus attack per round. This could happen either after your Han Gunner attack, or your Standard attack.

yeah but in my example i would be doing two locked and loaded attacked
Han gunner > Locked and Load at initiative 7
Primary > Locked and loaded Initiative 3
Unless its strictly ship based for only 1 bonus attack

Makes sense
Yeah you definitely cant Locked/Loaded twice since the bonus attack limiter is per round not per activation/engagement.
Still 3 attacks, assuming everyone is in the right arcs.
not bad, yeah positioning would be a pain, but def do-able
You could conceivably get all your shots out the back, if you do it right... turret arc pointed backwards, and attack shuttle docked. Get something in your back arc, then...
Since it's been established that a turret arc is different from the primary arc it overlaps,
the combo is perfectly legal.
EDIT: Thanks to a recent Rules Reference Update, the effect of Han Solo (gunner) has now been classified as a bonus attack... meaning that you can't triple-tap anymore!
Edited by emeraldbeaconHmm that would work, not bad
New Rules Ref on page 23 lists Han Gunner as a bonus attack.

Thank the Maker.
IDC either way in terms of balance or power level. I don't think the rediculous set-ups to get three attacks would remotely be worth their points. However, making Han's attack the same kind of effect as Veteran Turret Gunner's effect is just good.

It is better, more consistent game design, I agree.
