3D printed tree after basing and paint.
Same 3D print file, but adding some milliput roots on foam stone / soil base. Gesso applied to trunk to smooth print lines. I'm hoping to paint this in the next few days.
Some small practice stone bits.
They look great.
Beginning a large corner piece:
Now to paint the lower layer, connect the two, and add static grass. Then on to sculpting / painting the high ground
These look great! What kind of foam and how are you cutting it?

Thank you! The foam is just regular 1"-2" thick rigid foam insulation. I'm cutting it with a utility knife (Olfa). It allows long planar cuts as well as fine details on the stones, as long as you have a sharp blade and let the knife do the work.

Primed a little terrain the speeders will like.
...and a first few coats of paint.

I love the fallen log. I assume it's just a stick from your yard?
Correct. Just a stick I found while cutting up a fallen tree. I need to add more paint to bring it closer to the color of the larger tree trunks, but I wanted to be conservative with the amount of paint I used in order to retain as much natural aging as possible.
First layer of liquid resin.
Second pour. Need to get it into better light where the colors don't come through quite so brightly.
Great work.
Hot off the printer.
Weekend WIP. More soon.
Nice work all around. Particularly like the path through the two little ponds. The boot prints are nice touch.
Thanks for sharing!
Apply a little paint and vegetation.

That print was done on a Formlabs Form2. It prints with liquid resin with a high resolution. The prints come off very smooth, and it has its own rinse and UV process.
(I don't own the printer - just have access to it)
Nice. Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a resin printer. Filament style machines just don't cut it for me.
Everything I see is amazing amazing amazing. ? ? ? ?

Thank you! I'm having a blast trying out terrain-building and coming up with new pieces. The tabletop is beginning to get crowded if everything is out.
