I was making an Imps list and I was wondering: If I have Valen Rudor with Squad Leader and two Scimitar Squadron pilots, can I coordinate a barrel roll to one of the bombers and then get the red target lock for it too or does the restrictions for Squad Leader mean that the bomber could only do the barrel roll part of the linked action?

The bomber could link into the lock if it wanted to.

"• A linked action can be performed after performing the action it is attached
to even if that action was granted by a card effect or other game effect." - Rules Reference page 12

Valen lets the bomber barrel roll, the linked action then is allowed to trigger from the barrel roll.
