Everyone else is having so much fun extending happy birthday wishes, I figured I'd get into the act...

It's funny how a silly little thing such as a card game can lead to good friendships and good memories, but that's what happens. It's been a great pleasure knowing Chris these last couple years and sharing our interest in AGoT and other things. Chris is the "Old Man" of the NYC/LI meta figuratively (having helped/mentored pretty much all of the current players in our group) and literally (~the dude is freakin' old! ). Stags, have a happy birthday and I wish you good health, 'cause if anything happens to you, I become the NY meta's old fogy.

Happy birthday, Chris! While you didn't get me into the only game that matters, it's knowing great people like you that have kept me in it. It's definitely an honor to know and live minutes away from one of the games most well-known and respected veterans. Again, happy birthday!

Hey! Many thanks to all for the kind wishes and the shared Lion Loathing. As I move ever more rapdily into my early forties (and time sure does seem to speed up once you get past thirty) I still remain excessively fond of this community and inordinately taken with the complexity and thrill of this excellent game. It's been engaging for eight years and even in the painful transition to LCG, it never failed to hold my interest. I hope to still be playing and posting in another eight birthdays - just as I turn fifty.
