I made this so u share your defender lists.
Post defender lists
This is a list (stolen from reddit somewhere). I have found to be really fun. I’m not sure how it will hold up competitively though. As a note, you could drop Ion Missiles for a bid. I actually haven’t used them yet.
TIE/D Defender - Rexler Brath - 99
•Rexler Brath - Onyx Leader (84)
Juke (4)
Fire-Control System (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (4)

TIE/D Defender - Countess Ryad - 101
•Countess Ryad - Cutthroat Politico (86)

Rexler Brath (84)
Juke (4)
Major Vynder (41)
Crack Shot (1)
Fire-Control System (3)
Proton Torpedoes (9)
Advanced SLAM (3)
Os-1 Arsenal Loadout (0)
Soontir Fel (52)
Composure (2)
Total: 199
You are aware crackshot is only primary in 2.0 yes?
Delta. Delta. Omicron + Palpatine.
See here.
Still feels OK. A fairly simple list, but a few twists in the Shuttle's coordinate, as well as the potential to 3-hard and Boost as a new way to bring your ship around. You aren't locked into straight lines anymore, and it's lovely.
I've got half a mind to replace one defender with either Soontir or Whisper.
Rexler -juke
3x scimitar bombers with barrage and siesmics
199 total
Delta, Delta, Juke Whisper
Had huge fun flying Rex and Ryad with Outmanoeuvre and Adv Sen. Doubt it's optimal but it's very... different.
Takes some intense management.
Next step for me is learning to fly 1 of the 2 with a pair of Juke Sigma Phantoms. So far, I just get one of the Phantoms blown up almost immediately and it's downhill from there.... Definite potential though.
2 Delta's with Juke Whisper does appeal. The main issue I have with this option is that neither of the D's are Rex or Ryad, both of whom I have become massive fans of over the last few weeks. But I have given it one quick try....

I'm still tweaking this one. Sai can coordinate focus to Rexler when he barrel rolls or boosts to get a HLC shot. Seyn has marksman to increase his chance of putting damage under shields, which Rexler can exploit. The BSA can block to help the bulleye ships line up shots while his low Int Juke shot will benefit from Rexlers juke. I'll probably put his on the table for the first time on Monday.
This works for me:

Do you like best outmaneuver or juke?

Juke because it works more often with the Defender's ability giving the evade.

My reasoning on Outmanoeuvre, specifically with Adv Sen, is because you lose the evade when using the System. Adv Sen opens so much of the table on fast moves and opens up the slower end of the dial too. A barrel roll into a 1 hard, for e.g. Or a simple focus into 1 bank bump.
You gain a lot from the ship, and a lot of unpredictability, by treating the free evade as a bonus rather than something to really lean on, when Advanced Sensoring. Particularly if Palob is just gonna nick it anyway
But obviously it depends what you want to do with the ship and how you intend to fly it. I'm not great at flying them in a way that maximises Juke when Adv Sen is attached.

I tried both.
I found that Adv. Sensors makes the Defenders incredibly good. The option of doing a boost befor you 4k is incredibly strong. You have to try to stay out of arc anyway. Having Juke as elite upgrade just makes you a lot more predictable since you really rely on your fast maneuvers.
More often than not I found myself behind an enemy with a focus token, so my Juke was useless anyway. I found it better, and less predictable to just have the enemy roll 1 less defence die. This usually gives me an unmodified 3 or 4 red dice shot, which benefits more from one less green die than from a Juke which is only good if my enemy doesn't focus.
Usually Ryad dies along the way but Rex is very good endgame.
Here’s a second list (Palp Defenders) my only concerns are is the Reaper a better carrier, the Shuttle and is the dial/enough firepower to warrant using it over a fully buffed Brath/Ryad

Has anyone tried daredevil on defender?

Not in a meaningful way, just one go on a sim. Ryad and Adv Sen. Hilarious but I was just flapping about, not hurting anything. I feel like the stress from it outweighs any potential advantage gained from the positional flexibility as well.
Might work in a clutch turn where you already have a TL but overall, I find myself preferring to plink consistent hits rather than engineering a surprise hammer blow.
I was thinking maybe Ryad with collition detector and daredevil.

Probably worth trying, but I'm having a hard time turn mapping that in my head, so I dunno
One thing I've struggled with on Defenders (or anything, in fact) is predictability. I feel like they're inherently predictable ships. With larger numbers of enemies, that really becomes a problem. Its the stress I don't like, it can easily become 2, or 3, and then you're a bit borked. The blue 1 bank actually helps quite a bit but if rocks are clustered, they still get a bit stuck, for me....
So Collision Detector looks pretty smart. You can just go really fast instead.
I've not really tried it tbh, keep being put off by the idea that my opponent knows I have it and can probably guess when I'll want to use it
That's true, defenders are predictable. But I think that the idea is that even though they are predictable it's not that easy to cath them because u know they will punish u, I think they are completely opposite to phantoms who are hiding all the time.
I like them both.

The predictability of Defenders is why I love the white coordinate on a Lambda shuttle. Coordinated Boost or barrel roll before they move is great, particularly when it doesn't shut off Full Throttle or a normal action. Coordinated Focus allows the Defender to boost/br as their standard action without losing dice mods.

I've thought about the Reaper, and I don't know if I like it more. The dial is better, and Ailerons helps it go fast, but it's squishier if it isn't in full-fleeing mode (and even then, IDK if it's tougher), and my favorite action on the Lambda is the white coordinate. Reaper certainly will do a better job at guns-on a target, but Lambda feels like a lot stronger of a support piece than in 1e.
Edited by theBitterFigFlew ladt night and found it fun with my opponent not knowing it im.doing a k turn or not on a straight manuver. Ryad is aweaome for me so far. Paired with whisper and a barrage bomber for a which target do i kill first situation.

A bump for this as I'm suddenly feeling quite sold on 2 Delta's and Predator Soontir at 198pt. Been flying it in sims this week. Got a small tourney this wknd with Rex and Ryad but after that, I'm gonna be giving 2D Fel some table time.
Charge up with the D's and rock some socks while Soontir hides or distracts the flanker. Once everything is nice and soft, the ace clears up. Difficult to judge in a SIM since the AI just can't touch Fel.
