So, the alpha event list is out and there are a good number of WFRP2 games on it but nothing (so far) for WFRP3. Does anyone know of any actual event games for Indy?

I was looking for the same thing, dang it! I'm hoping they'll appear before the end of the week... otherwise I'll probably schlep my box along and look for pick-up games. Anybody want to play?
I fall into the 2nd Ed Fandom category, so I can't say I'm surprised by this.
Good luck with getting a pick up game going. Man, I wish I could go to Indy for this!
Raises hand! "me"

An update just went live (4/9) with a bunch of FFG board games... but still no WFRP 3.
IF I had the wherewithal to go, I'd be running thetwo scenarios I've developed thus far (along with some Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader), but sadly I have to stick to more regional cons for now.
I think FFG is missing a great opportunity to introduce the 3rd edition. My group has bought the game and have read the rules, but we haven't made the leap from WFRP2. GenCon would be a perfect setting to try it out. I hope FFG gets a few games into the schedule (though now that I have pre-registered, it'll be harder to find one that fits into my current schedule).
I was hoping for a WFRP game too. I recently bought the core set and am trying to learn the game. I hope they'll at least be running demos at their booth. I noticed that they didn't have any Rogue Trader games scheduled either, so maybe this is just how they've planned things?
I'd love to run a game... and I've been talking to Jay Little about being a helpful li'l volunteer at the Roseville MN Event Center... so maybe I can cajole him into some sort of sponsorship. Or maybe not, but I'd still dig on doing it. My only evening obligation is Saturday, so Weds/Thurs/Friday are all possibilities. I'm in the Marriot, but I'll schlep my stuff over to the open gaming area if that's the coolest place.
Discuss...
Did Jay happen to mention why there's a WFRP3 wasteland at GenCon? This would be a perfect opportunity to have 5 or so GMs running official games to garner more interest in the game. I don't think that demo's at the FFG booth will be nearly as effective as full-blown game sessions.

I can do THU night after the WFB tournament. It ends at 1800 so I'm free after that if you want to run and we can find some others to play.
This is disappointing. I have absolutely no idea how to run this game and was hoping to see it in action at GenCon. Looks like I'm on my own.

I am still debating whether to attend Origins or GenCon. Then, of course, whether it is worth toting all the WFRP stuff with me, taking up room I can stuff new games in.
If I end up going to GenCon (which I'll know in a week or so), I'll happily help run or play. I may or may not bring my stuff, depending. If I decide to bring my stuff, I'll run some open WFRP3 gaming. I plan mostly on going for the exhibitor hall and demo/open gaming, so my schedule will be pretty free.
Is there interest for people to play? If enough people say they are going and interested in playing, that might help swing my choice of event.
I will play. Might run.
