Somebody in a Facebook group was fairly adamant that you couldn’t run Daredevil on a T-65 because the S-Foils’ Boost wasn’t added until setup or something like that. But the app will let you do it, at least if you attach the S-Foils card closed. Is this just a bug or can anyone confirm/deny rulings so far as to this not working?

the web app doesn't seem to have that option, adding Daredevil to a T-65

In first edition that would be correct that you couldn't add something like Daredevil on a T-65. At the time of squad-building S-foils don't give either boost or barrel roll to the x-wing in question so that upgrades that require boost or barrel roll are not legal. The x-wing doesn't get the new action until setup and one of the sides of s-foils is chosen.
We have no such clarification for 2nd Edition. The web based builder allows you to equip either side of S-foils to the T-65. One side allows the addition of Daredevil. The either does not allow the addition.

That is interesting. If you include S-foils open it doesn't give you the option. If you include S-foils closed it does. Clever that.
Let's face it, if you're not building your X-Wings with s-foils closed as standard so you can flip them turn one and say "Lock s-foils in attack position!", then you're doing it wrong.
