I'm have been as pleased with FFG's communication post squad builder release as I was disappointed with what they put out to start.

I would like to suggest in the spirit of continuing to be transparent, since the app is tied to people's experience of the game; that they get with the developers and come up with a tentative road map of planned improvements and fixes and share it with the community (without target dates).

Their response has been good, but I feel like this would make it extraordinary and go a long way to removing uncertainty about what will and won't be changed/fixed. This could help push potential players who are on the fence to dive in rather than wait it out.

Agreed.

Although I don't think they can give us a road map because they didn't seem to have created the thing with a destination in mind for where this was going. I rather thought this was going to have a bit of tourney management software built into the thing with more utilities for sharing and collecting lists. If one of the points of requiring the app was to ease errata I'd have thought win/losses for lists and wins and losses over what lists would be a key feature. It so far feels like specious marketing, "We have an APP!!!!"

I would love a feature and fix roadmap. Just knowing that they intend to add things like being able to view the ship dial would go a long way in making me feel better because even if they fixed all the bugs the app is way to featureless.
