Stealth Device 2.0

By Bj_K_Ka, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Question about the new Stealth Device. Previously you had to be hit by an attack to lose your stealth. Now it says ”after you suffer damage”. Does this mean that you lose the charge if you for instance take damage from an obstacle?

Yes.

You must unlearn what you have learned. Things do not work how they did in 1e.

Thought so.

I feel like this "any damage" really limits its usability for the point cost (at least on ships with 2 and 3 agility, for 6 and 8 points respectively). There are so many ways to receive indirect damage without being attacked, this won't necessarily last long enough to be useful.

I mean, I sneezed the other day and stealth device fell off my ship and exploded.

Quinn Jast. :)

Darth Vader loves careless, unfocused stealth device pilots.
