Intimidation: While an enemy ship at range 0 defends, it rolls one fewer defense die.

Example:

Arvel has Intimidation. He bumps into Whisper. When Arvel attacks Whisper, she rolls one less defense due to Intimidation.

Next, a Green Squadron Pilot shoots at Whisper at range 2, does Whisper still roll one less due to Arvel and Intimidation?

Most people, with a handful of exceptions (arvel, rhymer with the right weapons, oicunn, and - crew - zeb) can't shoot at a target at range 0.

If it didn't work for other attackers, Intimidation wouldnt do anything for 99% of the people who can chose it.
