I think that was a very bad decision as well, turbolasers recharge so it's not like any ammunition would be wasted.

I know @Kristjan already posted here, but when talking about Worlds, high ranking tournaments and VSDs, he did come 5th in day 1a at Worlds with a VSD1, so something obviously worked there.

Again thanks to @Captain Weather for the overnight report and for specifically adding a 5th slot to showcase the list. I also found it really cool.

Well VSD-2s got DCaps, maybe the VSD-1 should get a way for long range black dice?

Made a new card, on the Imperial side only VSD-1s, ISD-Ks, and Raider Is can use it. Rebel ships with access to this card are the 2 MC75s and the Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette.

^Seems a bit cheap for such a powerful benefit.

A single extra dice front & back is 9 points (if memory serves).

Originally it was a Discard effect, but then I thought about turning VSD-1s into the most powerful sniper all game long was a good meta switcheroo.

That's why an Offensive Retrofit is also required, because a long range Demolisher would only be fun all the time. Afterwards it would never get old, never.

If VSDs get a long range ACM, no one will ever take a VSD 2, which was the upgrade to the VSD 1. Just my thoughts.

The VSD-2 would have an easier time getting accuracies but you're probably right.

I do think it's weird that the VSD-1 didn't get any specific attention like the VSD-2 did with DCaps.

Because although it needed help, it didn’t need it AS MUCH as the Vic 2, back then.

If you saw a Vic, it was a 1. Full stop.

The 2 needed the most, and got it. ?
