My new fang fighter is all gummed up out of the box.

I presume this is similar to the x wing flappy wings thing.

Has anyone discovered a good way to free them up?

Unless I'm wrong and the fang isn't articulated, but I thought I read somewhere that the new ones were supposed to spina little bit.

It is articulated, most people have suggested it's probably the colour wash rather than anything else that's gumming it up. Twisting it should break the gumming and free it up.

I had to force mine to get it to move finally. Works well once it’s unstuck. In another thread, someone suggested using a hobby knife to gently wedge into the seam and said this worked well.
