abilities for my adversaries

By goobahead1, in Rules Questions

Friday monkey (minion) (usually in groups of 3-5)

Description - a small yellow monkey.

Brawn 1 - agility 3 - intelligence 1 - cunning 1 - willpower 1 - presence 1

Soak 1 - wounds 3 - M/R Defense 0/0

Equipment - grab (brawl, damage 1, crit 1 engaged)

so for the above adversary how do i create an ability where say all of the members of its group latch on to a single person to incapacitate him? each of the monkeys weighs about 50 pounds so it would be the weight that would incapacitate them.

and for the below monster how would i give it a group abilities to make a stinky smell when in a group that can make a person feel disorientated. i also dont know how to stat a sonic attack.

Swallowtail bat (minion) (usually in groups of 3-7)

Description - a small pig faced bat with monarch patterns on its wings.

Brawn 1 - agility 4 - intelligence 1 - cunning 1 - willpower 1 - presence 1

Soak 1 - wounds 1 - M/R Defense 0/0

Equipment - bite (brawl, damage 1, crit 1 engaged),

For the monkey I would either make their attacks just deal strain, or make the players roll some sort of athletics or coordination check to avoid taking strain. Maybe add +1 strain for each monkey that's piling on.

For the bat; add 1 setback die to all enemies engaged with the bat (or short if the stench is really bad).

Sonic Screech (Ranged; Damage 5; Critical 4; Range [Short]; Disorient 3, Blast 3).

If you wanted you could have the blast effect hit everyone (but the bats) within short range, as apposed to the normal engaged.

Friday monkey (minion) (usually in groups of 3-5)

Description - a small yellow monkey.

Brawn 1 - agility 3 - intelligence 1 - cunning 1 - willpower 1 - presence 1

Soak 1 - wounds 3 - M/R Defense 0/0

Equipment - grab (brawl, damage 1, crit 1 engaged)

Silhouette 0

Abilities 3-5 incapacitate - when encountered all but one friday monkey will distract the character and the last friday monkey will attempt to cling on to an enemy to incapacitate them. Spend :advantage: for each additional friday monkey to attach to the same enemy. To remove a friday monkey the incapacitated character or an ally may spend :advantage: in order to remove the monkey from the body, this will kill the friday monkey.

Flavour and texture - this animal tastes and has the texture of like stringy green cheese.

Silhouette 0

Abilities 3-7 stink - all enemies engaged with 2 or more swallowtail bats gain 1 setback die.

Flavour and texture - the skin on its wings make a good salty and or peppery seasoning.

so how do these two monster look now? how would you guys adjust them?

also how does the below one look like

It looks like you left out their group skills.

The only thing I would change (this is personal preference more than anything wrong) is making the monkeys have a cunning of 2-3, and the bats a willpower of 2-3. It might just give them a little more character when players go to hunt them.

The idea that the monkeys are very creative and crafty when they work together. Bats on the other hand a lot more free willed.
