I'm curious: conversion kit tokens off-centre?

By IndyPendant, in X-Wing

So, I've been seeing and hearing lots of complaints, online and locally, about the Core Set kits being cut -slightly- off from where they should have been, so that (in particular) both the maneuver template middle lines and the ship token firing arcs are noticeably off-centre. My Core Set cardboard has this problem, but based on past experience with FFG customer service, I'm only mildly bothered at the minor inconvenience of setting up a ticket about it and waiting the few weeks it will take for FFG to almost certainly correct the issue for me.

What I'm curious about though is that I haven't really heard of any Conversion Kits having this problem. And my own have been cut perfectly, so far as I can determine. Anyone have any issues there? Maybe some other factory was responsible for those...; )

Yeah, I have a number of bases off-center so the arcs are not even.

Luckily for me they are on ships I don't use much.

They are official products, use them. If people complain it will look bad on ffg not you. Haven’t opened mine yet but I will gladly use subpar parts to showcase the care that went into this game.

There have been similar issues with the conversion kits too. A very small percentage have mis-aligned printing and one that I'm aware of lacked some cards.

Disappointing, not entirely unexpected that there would be a few, but it's definitely annoyed the people who got these problems.

A friend of mine just told me in their town are a bunch of people with off-center tokens and firing arcs in their conversion kits. Even wrong pilot names.
And the response from FFG? Nope, no replacement. It's all within the tolerance. Here are a bunch of pdf, print it yourself!
