Got my core in the mail today and the canopy blue is a little sloppy but nothing a little touch up with a steady hand cant fix. What color or mix of colors matches the base grey of an X-Wing mini?

Also as a bonus what wash works for Imperial blue TIE craft? Mine didnt get a lick of wash either.

Vallejo Deck Tan is dead on for the X-Wing and Y-Wings, I used it to touch up my ships today. As for the TIE fighter I'd recommend Nuln Oil.

If you want to be super correct based on original film models, try Reefer White from Archive-X. It’s a little expensive and has to be shipped from the UK but it’s great paint. Good to have around if you do any Star Wars models.

I'm just doing a tiny touch up so just needs to match the FFG cooler well enough.

My TIEs also were totally flat, no wash at all.

Army Painter's "Stone Golem" is a good match (for the new ones, not the old 1.0 core).
