So few Imperials in euro group...

11 imperials, 13 rebels. Seems pretty even to me :)

12-12 will be equal. With my tournament luck I will never meet rebels :P

Konstantine was on Rebels.

Does that count?

Spread of commanders:

Dodonna - 10

Thrawn - 8

Jerjerrod - 6

Rieekan - 6

Raddus - 5

Motti - 5

Garm - 4

Cracken - 3

Ackbar - 3

Sloane - 3

Madine - 2

Mon Mothma - 2

Ozzel - 2

Vader 2

Konstantine - 1

Sato - 1

Screed - 1

Tagge - 1

Tarkin - 1

Leia - 0

Poor Leia

@Rikash and comatose kicking off in about an hour. Small break for me to pull apart the pork shoulder I’ve been smoking for 7 hours. ;)

@comatose and I are playing now!

Glad to see Thrawn getting some love I find him to be the most interesting commanders in the game, and you can make some really fun lists.

@comatose wins a 6-5 game with 441 - 418 point for (23 MOV) that was ridiculously close. We played his Precision Strike. This was a crazy game for tokens with 13 for me and 10 for Comatose.

The only two non-flotillas on the board were a Scout hammerhead running from vengeful Bs/Norra with one life and his Yavaris also on one life. The game had an ~32% chance of ending in a double tabling. I had Tycho who needed to roll a single damage to pick up Yavaris (he flubbed). And Norra needed to roll a double on her black dice to get a kill on my hammerhead (1 - .75^2 = 43% chance).

We essentially had a clash on top of Comatose's deployment after he dropped all his ships to speed 0 first turn. I moved up hammerheads and Defiance aggressively and we had a slugging match that was all about who could put through enough damage fast enough. Turns out both lists were pretty good at it. Thanks to Comatose for a fantastic game. I hope we get a rematch sometime. Coma took logs (two due to a mis-click SNAFU on my part).

@CaribbeanNinja

Everybody keep them coming!

(only 32 more games this round! :) )

@CaribbeanNinja

Fantastic game. There were some hot reds early from @Rikash's Hammerheads that made me unable to ignore them. Here's the folder I'll be posting all my logs to.

I think the big surprise, there, is Dodonna at the top. By a significant margin.

I mean, sure, he's the cheapest commander in the game - tied only with Ozzel, who is junk, but...still, wow.

Garm will be the new meta. You heard it here first.
Already he is more popular than Ackbar, Vader and Sloane!

I feel that this is the beginning of the Rise of Tress Amigos: Tarkin, Tagge and Konstantine!

Combined they are already more popular than Vader

So, PT106 vs Karnek ended up as 10-1 (MoV 308) in my favor. I tabled Karnek and had 3 station tokens while he killed my Demo (90) Gozanti (25) and Ciena Ree(17) and had 1 station token.

(For league: I had 3 out of 5 ships alive and lost all squadrons. Karnek was tabled).

Any squadron deaths? I should be able to reconstruct the ships bit on Monday when I'm writing up everything....

Looks like a single dead TIE Bomber for Karnek

Ciena dead for Paul

All true, but tabling means all squads are killed for the league. (And Ciena was my only squad so i also lost all squads)

@geek19 - @comatose lost a YT-1300 and I lost Tycho. That was it. Only ships from our lists alive were Yavaris and Scout Hammerhead/2 flotillas.

@clontroper5 vs @thecactusman17 set to begin in about 20 minutes

**ANNOUCEMENT**

Top 4 from this tournament get an automatic entry into the 2019 World Cup.

http://www.steelstrategy.com/p/qualified-players-for-2019-world-cup.html

You can't get that many automatic bids from anything short of the World Cup itself!

Shiny! Thanks Biggs.
